History about our dog biscuits....... Dog treats are made by residents at J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center. JIRDC is a division of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, serving approx. 335 persons with Developmental Disabilities.

In 1993, a worksite from Redwood Resource Center began making dog biscuits to sell to the public. The residents in this worksite would go grocery shopping and purchase all-natural ingredients, they would come back and make dog biscuits, then they would package and deliver them to local merchants.

We are still making dog biscuits 18 years later!! In fact, we have expanded our recipes to include healthy "berry" mixtures such as blueberry and peanut butter. There are currently 4 worksites making fresh biscuits daily and other worksites delivering them to over 30 local businesses.
